I hope you are all keeping well in this strange time! and I look forward to getting some good advice even at my age I am keen to learn!

Best to you all

Barbara

Hi Barbara and welcome to the forum. As we say round here, you are nobbut a lass, so join in and show these young whipper-snappers a thing or three.

Hi and welcome from another Barbara.

Yes, insulin can be a bit tricky at times. Makes you realise just how clever your body was to balance it all without you having to give it a thought before diabetes came along to rain on the parade.

Which insulin(s) are you using? Just wondering if you are on a mixed insulin or Basal/Bolus system? Are you carb counting and adjusting your insulin doses or on fixed doses? Is there anything particular you have difficulty with?

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Barlon

Are there any specific issues you have experienced around using insulin.
Some find the move to insulin makes things more flexible.
What insulin(s) are you using?

Keep in touch and fire away with any questions that you have.

Welcome to the forum @Barlon

What sorts of challenges is insulin throwing your way?

We have a number of experienced T2 insulin users on various different insulins, plus a number of T1s and other insulin users with rarer forms of diabetes, so your struggles may be familiar to forum members who might have experiences to share
