At risk of diabetes
Received that dreaded news when you complete the online risk factor to find I am at high risk of getting Diabetes. Although I am overweight my age is not in my favour! Although I eat fairly sensibly I realise I need to concentrate and get the extra weight off to give myself a fighting chance of not getting it. Hence using the tracker etc and today decided to join in with the forum Rose

Hi and well done for what you have achieved. I think it started by being part of health matters a notice came up suggesting take a risk assessment for diabetes on their website. This I took and found I was high (25) and should get a blood test. At the moment our GP's surgery rather busy so thought O would start the weekly Diabetes UK support package with the weight loss planner and tracker in the mean time. Hope that helps
