Shedloads has changed - for the better in that time hasn't it? Leaps and bounds really especially considering it's another few years until we celebrate the centenary of Banting Best & Mcleods discovery.

You know that cure they promised us in 10 years ? - not expecting it before I pop me clogs, but .....
 
After 41 years of type 1 I thought I'd give it a go!

@trophywench I was told 5 years when I was diagnosed! Well the 5 years was up in April and still nothing...mind you, we are in the middle of a pandemic so I suppose we should give the scientists some leeway!

I’m a relative newbie, with not quite 30 years on the clock myself...


But one of the best and most diabetes-management-revolutionising things I ever did was to begin to connect with others online and discuss all things diabetes 🙂
