Hello everyone. I'm new here, so quite nervous tbh. I’ve looked at forums before, but never joined. Better late than never, they say.

hello and welcome to the forum, what make of diabetes do you have?

Hi and welcome from me too. No reason to be nervous of the forum. It is just made up of normal people like you but some of the members may be a few more years down the road with diabetes and have more knowledge to pass on. We are a friendly lot and best of all we understand what it is like to have diabetes... the difficulties and frustrations.... but also many people find that their diagnosis was the impetus they needed to engage in a healthier lifestyle... change their diet and exercise a bit more.

Would you like to tell us a bit about your diabetes? For instance have you been diagnosed long? What type of diabetes do you have or are you here on behalf of a relative, friend, partner, child etc How did the diagnosis come about and are you or they (if you are not the diabetic) on any medication? Do you know your/their current HbA1c.... this is the blood test reading which is used to diagnose diabetes.
Is there anything particular you are struggling with or is worrying you that we can offer practical help or support?

If it helps you to feel more comfortable sharing this info, you are pretty anonymous here, although after a while of exchanging thoughts and ideas you do get to know people a bit more and sometimes develop friendships even..... but no pressure on you to answer any questions that you are not comfortable with.... just make yourself at home.

Glad you have found us. I’ve already said hello in your other thread 🙂

Hi and welcome. Glad you found your way here and as said everyone here are a friendly bunch and will always do their best to help in any way.

Hi and welcome to the site, none of us bite so join in, ask lots of questions and we will do all we can to help you at what is usually a very confusing and sometimes frightening time but you will be fine once you are armed with lots of useful info.

Hello SCSWP and welcome to the Forum - tell us a bit about yourself

There is a lot of experience and advice available on here, so don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask any questions - we were all new once

But for a start, have a look through old Threads, especially in the Newcomers section. You may well find that any questions you do have, have been asked before
