Hi

My name is Peter and I'm 64. I have a history of poor diabetic control until I started eating sensibly. I recently had 2 toes ampitated following an infectio'.

Ar present I am on total bed rest as I cannot put any weight on the foot until the wound is healed.

Hi Peter, so sorry to hear about your toes, that must have been traumatic for you :( Good to know you are taking better care of your diet now. You will find loads of support on the forum, everyone is lovely and understands how challenging it can be to manage diabetes sometimes.

Hi Peter, so sorry to hear what has happened, it’s not very easy being diabetic is it. I hope your recovery is swift. If we can help in any way whether diet wise or just a listening ear then we are here for you, please feel free to post at any time, we all like to help and support each other. Wishing you well Peter x
