Hey, I'm David & I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes on May 12th 2010, I joined the forum to meet others, and just get a general feel for the forum. I hope you are all doing well, and I hope I can share my knowledge of T1D and help others when needed.

Welcome to the forum David.

Welcome to the forum @MrDaibetes

If you have time to tell us about how you manage your T1 that would be great.
There are so many options available now, and I know I have been kept up to date,
and valued the information from others here when making choices.

Hello David!

I recognise your face from Twitter 🙂

Welcome to the forum - we're a friendly bunch.

Hi David and welcome from me too.

It sounds like you are using cutting edge technology to manage your diabetes. I am still waiting to get the results of my Type 1 testing which the consultant seemed to think will likely be positive, since I had sudden onset symptoms, so I will be interested in any info you have to pass along.
How do people go about getting onto pumps and CGM?

There is a certiain Criteria for those who want to go onto a pump, I would suggest trying to get a pump first before looking into a CGM.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I will broach the subject with the consultant when I see him next month.

Hi David and welcome to the gang🙂
