Doc agreed for blood test to be done straight away and got result I am type 2 and have been for 2 yrs previous and not been told so I don't trust the docs now

Hi @Suedaisy, welcome to the forum 🙂 That sounds very poor, sorry to hear it. What is the situation now? Are you on any medication for your diabetes, and do you know what your blood sugar levels were like when you finally got a diagnosis? Many people have undiagnosed Type 2, and can have had it for many years, but it is very poor to actually diagnose it and then not take any action or even inform you :(

Please let us know if you can help in any way 🙂 There are some excellent healthcare staff around, but sadly there are some that fall short of the mark :(

Try not to worry, the good news is that there is a great deal you can do in order to manage your diabetes well and live a long and healthy life, avoiding those scary problems that are often mentioned, so do let us know how we can help 🙂
