Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi I just had a GTT and my level was 7.2 after fasting 8 hrs and 11.2 after the 2 hrs following the glucose drink yuk.
My doctor diagnosed Type 2 diabetes but with 11 the upper limit for pre diabetes, I appear to be just over at 11.2.
Very concerned and want to eat as per a recommended diet rather than tablets like Metiform. Is that possible at 72??
Started already no sugar, smaller meals, low fat things etc
Feel a bit sort of fluey after GTT 4 days ago.
Is that normal.
I am pretty active in my life too.

Welcome Terry. I think you are doing the right thing ! Being active & cutting down on the carbs 😎. Good luck 🙂
