Hiya

Is there any one of us, diagnosed as adults, who didn't feel like they'd been run over by a juggernaut and abandoned alone in the middle of nowhere? I know I did. Girls cry, Rik - and I measured my journey through 'getting to grips with it' by the intervals between each session of the 'Why Mes?' I'd say it can take a few years.

A lot more recently I have learned that diagnosis of any chronic condition has the same effect on us as a bereavement - and it's absolutely true!

Go and tell your doc you need help - it isn't a failure - it's a fact!
