Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hello there,
I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and given Metformin tablets to help (Literally 5 days ago!), my only symptom was that I was suffering from extreme tiredness. I am usually a very light sleeper, if someone coughed at the other end of the house it would wake me up; but the last couple of months I have been sleeping through alarms, missing apointments, and even when I managed to sleep, I was sleeping more then I usually would yet still feel exhausted. As it was affecting my every day life the doctor took some blood tests, and hey presto! Diabetes
I don't really know much about the condition, besides a printout I was given by my GP. The printout just gives a basic description about what it is; and as of yet I have had no other help with what I should be doing. I can not get an apointment to see my practice nurse untill the new year.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello whilst looking for help with what I should be doing.
Thanks for reading! 🙂
Misty
