I'm 28 and my husband is 29. He has been type 1 since he was 11 years old.
Sometimes he has hypos which can be a little stressful and i was wondering how other people cope with this situation.

Hi Nikki, welcome to the forum. Plenty of OH's and carers here who understand your position.

I've heard that hypos can be stressful, but not had that experience myself. Have a read up of some of the threads on the general boards, you'll gain quite a lot of knowledge - you could try starting a thread there specifically asking for advice on this subject, possibly more people will read it there than in this section, and i'm sure there'll be answers there in a jiffy!!

xx

Hi Nikki

My son is 13, diagnosed last year, and yes he does have quite a few hypos. Coping with them as a carer can be a bit grim... But do you mean they are stressful for him, or for you? Or both?! In what ways?

People do all different things on this site to cope with hypos...maybe put this question on the main board? I'm sure you'd get lots of thoughts...

Best.
