Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I have type2 having been diagnosed about three years ago, and for a couple of years have had membership of DiabetesUK.
Probably my own fault but didn't know this place existed. Though my health practitioner tells me I'm looking after myself, I still feel a little bewilded by my condition. A point of contact to maybe answer anything that crops up seems to be very welcome. Hi to everyone out there.

Hi Frankie, welcome aboard. It is all a bit of a puzzle, me too, but ask away on here and you will get some good advice for sure.🙂

Frankie hi and a warm welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum Frankie 🙂

Hi Frankie, welcome to the forum 🙂 It's probably not your fault - Diabetes UK have done a fairly good job of hiding us on their website!

You will find lots of friendly, knowledgeable and experienced people here, so please ask any questions you may have and we will do our best to help you out 🙂 It might be worth getting hold of a copy of Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker - even though you are not newly-diagnosed it will help you understand what diabetes is all about and hopefully make things clearer for you. I look forward to hearing more from you 🙂
