Hello everybody, i cant believe i have only just found this and i have been type 1 diabetic for almost 6 years now!! i still know absolutely nobody else that has the same illness so when i get stressed out with it all, i never have anyone to talk to!
 
hi there beanz and welcome to the family lol, well your'e in a good place here we are always here for you now your here they will always be some one to talk to when its getting you down x
 
no probs well at some time we will all go through the same feelings thats why whenever you need advice or have any questions ask away.. i only got diagnosed 2 month ago so im still learning but i find when im on here looking through new and old posts i always have alot of my questions answered xx

Hi beanz20, and welcome! These forums have only been going about 6 months, so if you'd looked before then you wouldn't have found us! But glad you're here now🙂 It's a great place to ask and give advice and support - I've learned a huge amount and would feel lost without it, so anything you need to ask or rant about, please go right ahead!

My son is 11 and type 1 and without this site i would be lost! I have gained so much knowledge off this site than all his team put together!:D Bev
 
Hi, nice to have you on board ! I'm only 6 months diagnosed and have found out more on this site than all the reading or chatting to my Diabetic Team (even though they are a good lot) has given me. Looking forward to hearing more about you and if you have any problems someone (though probably not me yet!) will be able to advise and point you in the right direction.
