Hi and welcome.
Good to have your extensive experience added to the forum. Good luck with the HCL when you get it. Shouldn't be too long now as a few people have mentioned being switched to the Libre 2+, but I imagine the HCL training for it will be the issue as clinic staff will need to be trained first to then train their patients. Have you been using a "Pod" long and is it your first pump?
Is there anything particular that brings you to the forum after 45 years?
I must say, that I have found it incredibly helpful and inspirational being able to learn from others here with more experience and try their various strategies to see what works for me and my body and my diabetes and develop a few strategies of my own to help manage my diabetes well. In the 5 years I have been diagnosed this forum and Libre have probably been the two factors which have helped me most, so I can highly recommend the forum as a world class resource for diabetes management.

I’m also on level 45 of T1. Thank goodness for the amazing developments in tech over the years.
I hope you’re able to get set up with HCL soon, it has made a huge difference to my overnight levels & drastically reduced the number of hypos I’m getting. I’ve also got a little bit more headspace back- much needed & very welcome!

Welcome @Richard F 🙂 Yes, I love this forum. It’s so helpful to read what others do and to hear different ideas. It also makes me feel less alone with Type 1, being amongst people who really understand.
