Welcome to the forum
Hopefully by taking some action NOW you will not jump over that threshold of 47mmol/mol to put you in the diabetic zone.
Don't accept that as the inevitable. There is plenty you can do by making some dietary changes and getting more exercise if you can.
Have a look at this link for some ideas for modifying your diet. Many find a low carbohydrate approach is successful. https://lowcarbfreshwell.com/

A warm welcome from me, too. Some prefer the term 'at risk of diabetes' because there's an implication in the term 'pre-diabetes' that diabetes itself is inevitable. As @Leadinglights says, that doesn't have to happen. There are lifestyle changes around diet, exercise and (if needed) weight loss that can turn things around. Many of us have been actually diagnosed with T2 but by making those changes have dropped our blood glucose levels back into normal range.

Hey welcome ! I'm franthepotter. Was prediabetic and tipped over to diabetic so have totally changed my diet and lifestyle. 3.5 months in.

Welcome to the forum @Rozb

Hopefully by taking action now, and with the support and encouragement of the forum you might be able to steer your results away from the diagnosis cut-off.

Were you told the result of your HbA1c?
