Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Thank you already to all those lovely people who have responded to my post. I'm a carer for my husband who has type 2 diabetes. I am prediabetic but have been at the same level for many years. One in the family is enough. I am retired and have some white hair!! At present life is somewhat challenging and I have the long post COVID cough. Weirdly I lost my smell in 2020 with my first COVID experience and have just recently got it back, albeit that smells have changed, coffee smells like burnt leather for instance!! I am finding cooking for my husband challenging. There is an overload of differing information and I find trying to find pleasing recipes that are diabetic friendly very stressful. Given also his food dislikes and food intolerances!!
