Welcome to the forum. Not speaking the language must make it tricky, do you have anyone who does to help interpret.
How did you come to be diagnosed, were you having symptoms or just picked up from routine tests. Were you given the result of the HbA1C test which would have been done, anything over 47mmol/mol would give you a diagnosis, how much over will indicate how much you will need to do. If very high you may have been prescribed medication but dietary changes are likely to still be needed.
Have a look at this link as the ideas for modifying your diet may well be suitable. https://lowcarbfreshwell.com/

Welcome to the forum @chalkysmrs

Thankfully Diabetes UK’s respurces are freely at your disposal!

You might want to register an account for the Learning Zone (the orange tab in the main menu) which has a host of bite-sized modules you can work through at your own pace.

Alternatively, for a more personal view you might want to gradually work through Maggie Davey’s open letter to the newly diagnosed, which lots of forum members have found helpful over the years.
