Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Just been diagnosed, and am wading through the "library" of stuff I need to know! All a bit overwhelming to be honest!

Welcome @Elliott99 🙂 Just go at a pace that suits you. It can be overwhelming but everyone here is supportive and helpful so do ask anything you want, no matter how ‘trivial’.

Welcome to the forum @Elliott99

Glad you have found us!

You are quite right, it can feel overwhelming, and like such a steep learning curve to begin with, but diabetes is generally a fairly sluggish foe, and you have time to find your feet, and gradually come to terms with things.

There’s a well-worn saying in these parts, that diabetes is ‘a marathon not a sprint’

The Learning Zone (the orange tab in the main menu) is a terrific resource, full of bite-sized modules which you may like to register for. But there’s no need to crash through them, just take things a little at a time, building on the knowledge you’ve already picked up.

And keep asking questions on the forum too. Nothing will be considered ‘silly’ 🙂
