Welcome to the forum @TinaG61

When did you get the news that you were at risk of diabetes? And did your Dr give you the results of your HbA1c check?

For those told that they are at risk of diabetes, this will generally be a number between 42 and 47mmol/mol

Have you made any changes to your menu? Or been given any advice about food?

Often members here have found that moderating their total carbohydrate intake is a helpful first step. Cutting back on ’empty’ sugary things, and also controlling portions of starchy carbs. Depending on your HbA1c, some relatively modest tweaks can really help your metabolism to cope more easily with your menu.
