How are you getting on with the metformin?

I'm getting on ok I think, the sickness/stomach side effects have stopped. I'm not sure if it's as low as it should be, my blood tends to be from 5.9 to 10

Glad to hear the side effects have gone off, If your numbers are consitently like that then you are doing pretty good. Do you have a meter to test at home?
Have you had any HbA1c's done since diagnosis? They should be done at least every 6 months to see how you are doing.

Hi Sarie, welcome to the forum 🙂 Please don't be afraid to ask anything, or just have a good old moan if the mood takes you - everyone here will understand and do what they can to help.

Sounds like things are going OK for you. You might be interested in getting hold of a copy of Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker - lots of our Type 2 members have recommended it 🙂
