Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I have type 2 diabetes and currently on insulin 30/70 Humulin due to my sugars being out of control since a family bereavement.
i stopped taking my tablets when my life was put on hold for a year.
I'm hoping to return to tablets soon as its now stabilising .

So sorry to hear about your loss @Barney01

I lost my wife to cancer 4 years ago, so know all too well what an overwhelming experience the loss of a loved one can be.

Hope you can find small steps and positive practical ways to look after yourself as you work through the grieving process. Good to hear your BG levels are a little more stable, as erratic glucose levels can have a negative impact on mood and mental health.

Which tablets were you taking? And have you developed a plan with your GP to try to move back onto them?

Hey @Barney01, welcome to the forum. It's lovely to (virtually) meet you 🙂

I'm so sorry for your loss. You're not alone and hope you're finding ways to look after yourself. The forum's a really great place to chat to people, so ask away with any questions you have.

Do you have any questions about sugar levels at the moment or ones you'd like to ask your GP? or are you waiting for the review in 2 weeks and taking it from there?
