New to Diabetes and the Forum, thank you for having me on.

Looking for advice and info at this stage.

Welcome to the forum, perhaps you would like to say a bit about your diagnosis as it really helps people to give suggestions. Do you know what your HbA1C is as that will indicate how much work you will need to do and have you been prescribed any medication as that will influence the advice people will give.
Have a look at the Learning zone as that is full of information and links.
Also this link may be helpful with giving you some ideas for a way of modifying your diet as that is going to be important in helping manage your condition. https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/ It is a low carb approach which many find successful in reducing blood glucose and losing weight if you need to.

And welcome to the forum from me too @John21 - Ask away as there are many knowledgeable folk on here. I was only diagnosed with T2 in May and I've learnt so much from the members.

Welcome to the forum @John21

How long have you been living with diabetes? Are you taking any meds to help with your blood glucose management?

Can you remember your most recent HbA1c? This will be a number above 47mmol/mol, but it may be much higher, even into 3 figures.

If you’d like to fill in some of the blanks or gaps in your understanding, you might like to register with the Learning Zone (the orange tab in the main menu), which is packed full of bite sized modules that you can work through at your own pace.
