Hi you guys

It seems like an age since I've last been here. How on earth have you all been?

What's been happening with me then? I came off my pump on Friday after having a heck of a time with failed cannulas and a rather nasty infection. Back on pens for a bit and gotta say, struggling. Average bgs since starting back on pens is between 25-20 😱

Other than that, not much. Been diagnosed with severe clinical depresion and generalised anxiety disorder which has been a bit pants as you can imagine.

Currently curled up on the sofa under a duvet drugged up on tablets to help the nasty infection :/

Hope you are all fabulous =]

Welcome Back aww bit hi levels hey :] how's that headache? Don't worry just do some correction doses and what not you'll be ok :D

Welcome back, Silent Assassin.

Are you getting treatment for your depression, as well as infection and trying to get blood glucose levels under control? That's lot to be dealing with all at once.

Hi Sam, nice to see you hear again 🙂 Very sorry to hear about the problems you are having to contend with currently - hopefully the infection will clear and you can get back to your pump and much better numbers very soon. I hope the meds help with the depression too, although I imagine getting decent numbers will help hugely as well when you can get back to better control 🙂

yeah I'm on mirtazipine or however you spell it...it makes me very sleepy though.

If I'm honest, the depression has taken precedence over the BGS at the mo...I know that's bad but I kind of want to get my head back in the game. It's been very tough!

How are the Tudors doing ?

How are the Tudors doing ?

hehe I'm more on the seventeenth century and Charles II these days, and Renaissance Italy =] I found that the Tudors were far too well done yaknow? My dissertation was on the English Civil War and I missed it a ton. But recently have been doing a ton of research on the Borgia family =]

Hi Sam

Sorry to hear you've been going through the mill with D and D :(

Hope the meds and pump break help you to work though to better levels.

M

Yep, Victor was a great entertainer ....... hang on, think you might have spelt Borgia wrong.

Andy 😉

p.s. Welcome back by the way. 🙂

heheheheh I don't think Cesare knew his name was victor 😉

Hi Sam
Its been a long time, its nice to see you again. Hope you can quickly come to terms with your problems and get back on track, hopefully it will make you feel much better.
Best wishes

John.

Great to see you back Sam! Sorry to hear things are so challenging at the mo, just take one problem at a time...baby steps... Hope you're feeling a lot better soon. X
