Hello @Burrhubb and welcome to our forum.
There are several other parents on the forum, and I'm sure they will be happy to share experiences.

You may have already seen that there is a special 'parents' section on this link :-Parents
Are there any particular issues that you would like to ask about at present?

Your studies sound very interesting, and I'm sure you will find a great deal of information and practical experience on the forum threads that may be of help.

Welcome to the forum @Burrhubb

Sorry to hear about your daughter’s diagnosis :(

Ask away with your questions! It‘s what we are here for 🙂

Hi and welcome from me too.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis but great that you are using it as a springboard to learn more both personally and career wise.
Thank you for the great work you do in caring for the elderly. I am sure we are all happy to see someone take an interest in diabetes care in nursing homes and we will be happy to help in any way we can both with your daughter's diabetes management and your research.
Feel free to ask any questions, but be prepared for more than one different answer. Diabetes can be remarkably individual because there are so many different factors which influence BG levels as I am sure you have or will become aware.
