Hello: new to this forum although I've been Type 1 since 1970!

Totally agree @ellietj. Last time I asked I was told the local CCG had not as yet put it onto the permitted prescription list. Things are very parochial in this neck of the woods. I have served on various committees over the 33 years we have lived in the area (from tourism to medical based) and I can testify to the blinkered and frustrating attitudes adopted by a number of people serving on such committees. So I am unsurprised by this.

I would like it for the same reasons as yourself. I also sometimes drift low in the night, despite frequent tweaking of basal rates on the pump.
