Hello! I'm Laura. I'm 22 and from Bedfordshire in the UK.

I have been Type 1 for 6 years now. I was 16 at diagnosis. I am on Basal Bolus and use Levemir and Novorapid.

I've really stuggled over the years with my diabetes and maintaining control but it's getting there!

I enjoy music, reading, horse riding and socalising.

I hope to get to know you all soon 🙂

hi laura ive been diabetic 11 years and its a nightmare, my control is bad just been put on levimer and metformin as well as novorapid sugers were brill last week till weekend and were all over the place lol
 
Hi Laura and Lindo welcome both of you to the forum.Im a type 2 recently started on injections but byetta which is an injection for type 2s.I guarentee you will get all the help and support you can get from all of us on here,from the newly diagnosed to people with D for 30 years+ this place is a fountain on knowledge.x

Welcome to the site. It's more like an extended family but it can be a bit of a mad house at times! Please ask anything you can think of. Nothing is to daft to ask and we'll always try to point you all in the right direction. I'm nineteen and I've been diabetic for fourteen years. I've just started using an insulin pump.

Hi again Tom,

Unfortunately my MSN isn't working on my laptop right now. I think I'm going to have to re-install it but will let you know when it's up and working again! 🙂

Hello Shiv.

Same age as me! lol. Except you've had Diabetes alot longer! lol.

Am trying to get MSN working now. Alot of cursing and swearing going on! 😛

hi laura again ...you said youd been on another forum was that a uk one or US its always good to find different sources of information 🙂
