Hello everyone, I’ve just been diagnosed with Type 2.

Hoping to learn from everyone’s experiences and get advice from the forum going forward.
Sorry that you've had to join us but welcome to the forum. Are you happy to share some details about your diagnosis - your HbA1c blood test result, whether you've been prescribed medication, been told to lose weight and/or be more active, or advice regarding diet? Sorry if all that sounds a bit intrusive but the more we know about where you are on your diabetes journey the easier it is to tailor advice to your particular circumstances.

Hi @RadarGuy, welcome to the Forum 🙂. You've certainly joined the right place, lots of us here to provide friendly advice and support!

Welcome to the forum @RadarGuy
It's worth reading through the pinned threads at the top of the Newbies threads. There are decades of experience to draw on if you need it.

Hi @RadarGuy and welcome to the forum.

As others have said, your HBA1c is your starting point, hopefully your doctor has told you what it is as this will help forum members help with any advice they can give.

Life style changes are normally the starting point ie weight, diet and additional exercise

Alan 😉
