Relationship to Diabetes

Hi..I'm a new member but not new to diabetes. Not a seasoned veteran like some but almost 5 yrs now. I control with insulin, diet and exercise. I have heard that this site has some very experienced and knowledgeable members and hope to learn more about my condition and diabetes in general. I do have a few questions and will hopefully post them where they are supposed to be. Nice to meet you all.

Hi @CanuckT2 and welcome to the forum.

I see you are posting from western Canada but that is no problem, diabetes is the same everywhere. What can differ is medical practice, in terms of the way things are measured and the way things are treated, so you might need to look for clarification if anything said in replies to your queries does not match up with local practice in your area.

Welcome to the forum @CanuckT2

We’ve recently had another new member join from Canada ( @T2Canada ) so you are in good company.

Make yourself at home, and ask away with any questions you have 🙂
