My main problem these days is balance. I am constantly afraid of falling. I use a rollator/walker but it sometimes feels as if it will run away from me leaving me without support. Can anyone rrecomend any publications or have any advice please.

Welcome to the forum @Nich85 . I can't answer your particular question, but I bet there will be someone along soon who can

Welcome to the forum @Nich85

Sorry to hear about the problems you’ve been having with your balance :(

Have you been assessed for any changes that may have occurred in your nerves (peripheral neuropathy) over the time you have had diabetes?

There is research that shows that neuropathy can cause impaired balance and dizziness in some people with diabetes.

Hope you can find a way to feel a little steadier on your pins 🙂
