Hello i am new to this forum and although i have not got diabetes, to my horror i scored 27 in the survey which puts me at risk. All help will be gratefully received, thanks

Welcome to the forum, good to come here and be pro active. You could have a look at your diet and see if there are some easy wins in terms of reducing carbohydrates a bit. Also doing a bit of moderate exercise like a walk will help. There are loads of tips on here, so keep asking

Great to see you here, it's helpful to take preventative measures. Your numbers aren't bad at all so a few lifestyle changes can make a huge difference.

Were you having any symptoms as to why you were tested?

Well done for finding out your risk score and looking to take steps to lower it. Joining us is a good start! The eat well and move more pages on the Diabetes UK website have all sorts of information and advice about making healthy lifestyle changes. Also feel free to ask around on the forum if you need help.

Did you speak with your GP to arrange a blood test as well?
