Hi there
I’ve been on two metformin a day 1000 each tablet since then I find some food I can tolerate and give me indigestion mostly sweet Ieper had a corneto mint one last night had bad indigestion

Hi Glynis, welcome to the forum 🙂 Have you been diagnosed long? A lot of people find that metformin can cause an upset stomach, unfortunately. There is a 'slow-release' version that some people find better, so if you are not on that then it might be worth asking your Gp or nurse for some. I haven't used metformin myself, but I think it can be better to eat at certain times around when you take the tablets - hopefully someone will be along to advise 🙂

Yes about a year but only been taking metformin twice a day for a month I’m on SR so things might improved
