Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hey,

how’s its going?

Let me introduce my self.

I am type 2 diabetic, who is have been in remission but recently creeped back. But looking like I am back on it, so hopefully it’ll be back in the good range, when I get my next A1C.

I also have had a spell ( well one time) of afib, which I think was related to my blood sugar. As since I have been controlling it, it not happened again.

So what everyone tips for keeping blood sugars in the good range?

Welcome to the forum
Tip: Keeping to a dietary regime which is now your new way of eating. I found this low carb approach one that is enjoyable and sustainable. https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/
There are other ways of course and what you choose has to suit you.
Use your blood glucose monitor to keep on track.

Hi Beastie_boy82, welcome to the forum.

Glad to see that you've had some prior success with getting into a healthy range as it means you can get there again!

Had anything changed as to why your numbers increased or did you alter you habits whilst in remission?

It's worth noting down what you did and hope you can sustain that long term. We've got a new remission section on the forum so do have a look and feel free to share your journey.
