Hello everyone, how are you. It's been awfully quiet for some weeks. Any news?
I haven't noticed.Hello everyone, how are you. It's been awfully quiet for some weeks. Any news?
Pity you are so far away we could really do with a ton of manure for our allotment.Hi and welcome back.
Forum has been busy, so probably just you who has been quiet. 😉
Hope all going well with you (and your good lady of course) and your diabetes isn't proving too challenging at the moment.
I am in the process of clearing out my horse manure bays and delivering to local gardeners. There are probably about 6-8 tones of the stuff to shift and it is all to fork into my trailer by hand and then empty into barrows at the other end and wheel into people's garden's so it is very good exercise and saves on gym fees. Could just do with the weather being a little less wet! 🙄
I have a long list of regular customers, so even if you lived local, you might have to wait a while although there is a fairly constant and consistent production line! 🙄 The new bay that I just started into is absolutely teeming with young worms, so it is really good stuff!Pity you are so far away we could really do with a ton of manure for our allotment.
You would never have thought S..t was in such high demand.I have a long list of regular customers, so even if you lived local, you might have to wait a while although there is a fairly constant and consistent production line! 🙄 The new bay that I just started into is absolutely teeming with young worms, so it is really good stuff!
We use a lot in our garden. Fortunately there is a very nice lady who lives a 10 minute drive away. She gives her ponies manure away providing you can collect it. We load up a trailer full of large garden trugs. You would never have thought S..t was in such high demand.
I help out at a stables and have access to as much horse poo as I could carry. Just need to work out the logistics of getting it to my garden. I'm wondering if I can get away with at the next stable club getting the kids to fill lots of sacks to load into the car....or does that make me a bad personWe use a lot in our garden. Thank you so much, you are so kind!Pleased to hear you have a lovely new kitchen and you are still enjoying your new job and that you are feeling more relaxed about your diabetes management. Sounds like you have found a good balance with it all. You have come so far in a relatively short space of time, what with the initial diagnosis and starting on insulin and losing a job that you had done for such a long time and then finding and starting a completely different job and learning to manage your diabetes throughout all that. I think you have earned a big "WELL DONE!"
My job is great, enjoying it very much, everyday is different with a lot variety with the work, meeting lots of people and no driving! Perfect! Thank you for asking. Nice to meet you too! Nice to hear from you!Hi @Busdriver60
I've not been around due to emergency surgery for a small bowel obstruction. Currently recovering.
On a more positive note I've been added to the list to go onto hybrid closed loop. It's a fairly long list but hopefully sometime next year.
Hoping things are going well for you. How is the job going?
