Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi, I have just joined the forum. I am type 1, and was diagnosed nearly 45 years ago, as a 19 year old university student. So over the years I have seen a lot of developments and changes in the way diabetes is treated. In the '70's the ambition was to have people on one injection a day. It was very restrictive and I was taught carb counting to manage it. Am now on DAFNE and multiple injections. So, still carb counting, but it's much much better. I joined the forum because I wanted to let others know about the positive experiences I have had in one fast food chain in relation to carb counting. Will post in a few minutes.
