Greetings to all contributors and readers. I have been T2 for several years, but had to change GP practice to get a correct diagnosis, with Metformin as the first prescription, plus Amlodipine and Lipitor. Currently still taking 1000mg Metformin twice daily with 2 40mg gliclazide also twice daily.
HbA1c 24/5/2016 125mmol, 27/7/2016 57mmol, 14/9/2016 49mmol, 25/1/2017 43mmol.(BMI 24/5/2016 23.4).
Very variable BG daily: late night yesterday 4.8, and this morning, 10.9.
Access to any professional advice seems to be very limited. I have never met the GP to whom I am assigned, and always have to ask twice for specific test results. (At the latest I was told it was "abnormal but expected")
Does anyone else recognise the experience?
