Type 2
Just to say hello, I have had type 2 for 10 yrs and have just rejoined DUK recently. First time on forum today

Welcome, feel free to tell us more, Type of meds? HbA1c ? do you follow any particular diet plan? If you feel comfortable of course.
I'm on Metformin, Linagliptin, and gliclazide, HbA1c 62 / 7.8%. low carbing about 50 to 60 a day.

Hi Roseanna, welcome to the forum 🙂 I look forward to hearing more from you about your experiences over the years 🙂

I lower carb also [approx. 50-80] and am diet and exercise controlled at moment My last HbA1c was 41 quite different from when I started out at 64 ten years ago and was advised to eat carbs with every meal. I have taken the usual medication in the past but after losing a shed load of weight was able to cut down on my Metformin and eventually stop it altogether. Hoping I'll be able to keep this up for as long as possible. Thank you for your welcome Alan and Northener

Sounds like your on a good track Roseanna, keep it up.
Nice part of the world Stirling, I have friends in Gargunock.
