Hi Roy, welcome to the forum 🙂 How long have you been diagnosed, and are you on any medication for it?

Welcome from a fellow T2 who's 15 months in.

Hi Roy

My sister and her family emigrated to Oz at the end of 1998, and all of them took up citizenship once they were able to. She was also T2, treated by diet & exercise. She did alright with it - but sadly other health concerns hit her instead.

I know a bloke living near Brisbane who is Australian by birth - but knows one helluva lot about T2 because he has had the same mindset - plus an affinity with the interwebnet for longer than his T2 - and makes all sorts of really useful info available for all diabetics but specially T2 on his Blog.

His name is Alan - and his site is http://loraldiabetes.blogspot.co.uk/2006/10/test-review-adjust.html - that's just one of the useful things that we routinely point 'new' T2s towards.
