Hi all, came across this site whilst searching for support groups on Diabetes UK and the posts all seem wise and friendly so thought I'd join.

Hello,

Have had diabetes a long time, diagnosed when I was 12 in 1993, use Novorapid and Lantus insulin, generally well but HbA1c always a bit high, progressively worse in recent years and I want to reign it in so looking for good advice and tips. Thanks for the prompt reply!

welcome Laura. You sound exactly the same to me when I joined here. This is definitely the right place to be and you'll get loads of good advice as well as learning lots too. I was 10 when diagnosed in 1992, and until last week was on Novorapid and Lantus.
