Relationship to Diabetes

Hi guys i'm a 27 year old doctor when i was completing my internship(post MBBS in india) i felt fatigue and acetone o dour in my urine it was my last posting and urine ketones were 3+ and sugars readings not showing i was in DKA admitted in ICU with HBA1C of 12.7 ,it happened 5 months back now i'm out of insulin but still taking metformin in lower dose ,endocrinologists came to an conclusion that its stress induced diabetes.my HBA1C came down to 5.1
Now i'm preparing for my speciality exams what i have learnt from this is health is more important then career.
Nice to meet you all
Being a Medical student(I was intern when it happened ) i had no idea of stress induced diabetes,after that only i started learning deeply about diabetes in india even the upper middle class and middle class population having the symptoms ignoring it and when the come to hospital already with DKA ,in order to avoid and educate that i have started a forum ,there are no proper forums for diabetes in India.

I have started this spreading awareness in my district organizing camps.glad that i find your forum i can learn from your camps and how you organised things
