Type 2
Hello,
I have recently been diagnosed with type 2. I have Post Polio syndrome plus lung damage after a severe bout of pneumonia. Not very mobile and on a lot of medication.
I look forward to learning how to control this condition, if I can.
Thank you.
Steve

Welcome, As you can see from the "About Me" link in my signature, I too am from Edinburgh.

I am sorry to hear about your previous medical history, there are other members with simialr histories who will no doubt stop by, so you are in the right place, Why don't you tell us about your current Meds, the info is important, and any initial queries you have.

Welcome to the forum @Ballyumgall

Were you given the result of your HbA1c at diagnosis? This would have been a number above 48mmol/mol, but may have been quite a bit higher.

Hope whichever meds (if any) are recommended for you play nicely with the others you need to take for your other conditions.

Have any changes to your diet been recommended to you?
