Type 1.5 LADA
Hey Folks, new to the forum, lol. So just finding my feet. I have been Type1 LADA for 5 years and have just plucked up the courage to chat to other folk like myself. 🙂 Hindsight, I should have done this earlier as I am sure it really helps to talk to other folk who are feeling the same. Anyway, just wanted to say"hi to you all" 🙂

Hi Tink, glad you plucked up the courage! It's great to be able to chat to people who get it.

Hi Stephknits, Thanks for your message. Just looking at all the interesting topics and better ways to keep my sugar under control. Sometimes I feel I have just got it then BAM! They go all over the place again.:( It's really upsetting when you feel/think your doing everything right too into the bargain. Hey, ho onwards and upwards..........

I agree. I spent ages adjusting my morning basal rate and sometimes wake up nicely on a 6 and others for no apparent reason like this morning, an 11. Ho hum

Hello @Tink12
So good that you have decided to join the forum.
I am sure you will have seen on your browse around that there is a great deal of experience and knowledge around here.
There are several other LADA members, and I am sure they will be along to say hello and share experiences.
Please keep posting and we will always try to answer any questions you may have, or just share problems and issues.

Hello @Tink12 just want to welcome you to the forum. 🙂

Welcome to the forum Tink!

Its great that you have decided to make connections with the diabetes ‘hive mind’ here. Living with diabetes can be a lonely and isolating experience, and it can be hard to discuss things with friends and family who may not have any experience of what it’s like day-to-day.

Feel free to ask any questions, to rant, moan or go off in a tangent. Nothing will be considered too obvious or ‘silly’. And whatever it is, you can bet that someone here has ‘been there, done that’ :D
