Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Dear Members!

My name is Kristina Loskarjova, I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 3 yet very grateful to my parents for how they brought me up and showed me happy life with Type 1 Diabetes.

I am now 25, for the past years I was lucky enough to lead a start-up that was nominated for the 'Business Innovation of the Year 2019' Award, published a book, worked as a marketeer in the EMEA office of an international luxury brand and worked as a Product Lead on at the biggest insurance conference across the EU and the US.

Now I am joining this forum to help T1D's with any advice that may be useful on the journey to becoming our best-self!

Looking forward to getting to know this community a little bit better! 🙂
X Kristina

Hi Kristina, pleased to meet you virtually. I was employed in the insurance industry myself for 40 years as it happens - but that's been pretty immaterial all in all with my own management of my own diabetes - just fitted it in between leaving school and my retirement ! :D (Did come in slightly useful the other day on the motorhome forum we are both members of though, when someone asked a question about a Restrictive Covenant on their home.)

Welcome to the forum @kristinaloskarjiva

Glad you’ve found a way to be happy alongside your diabetes, and to fit it into your busy life 🙂
