Hello Forum have had diabetes for nearly one year now 18 keepin well how are other people coping over the festive period? 🙂

Hello Northerner i am 4-5 aday minimum and to be fair i have had excellent care so far how about your self?

Good to hear , I've been well looked after too, wish it was true of everyone but care seems so patchy.
 
Just found this site, I have had type 1 now for just over 3 months must say it was a bit of a shock at first but getting there all be it slow.

Welcome to the forum Sean🙂 Ask anything you are unsure of and we'll do our best to help, or just have a good old rant if you want = perfectly acceptable! There is a lot to take in, especially in the first few months, but you sound as if you are getting to grips with it,

I found out in October first started Insulin on the 14th, my BS was around 28 needless to say i felt like crap. My avg is now around 7

Erm not too bad christmas was a bit sugary to say the least but took it in my stride just had to up the dosage of humalog a little bit back at work now but other wise fine how about your self are you keeping well? 🙂

Your bery kind tom thankyou and yeah have only had diabetes since feb 2009 but i dont let it get to me how about you how long have you had diabetes? 🙂
 
Type 1

Hi you all seem to have got to grips quickly I have been diagnosed a year now started on 2 injections then went onto 4 but kept waking in the middle of the night wondering if I had taken my night time dose so have gone back on 2!! but my BS seems to be up at 10 alot!!:confused:
