"Hangs head in shame" I know I have been very remiss for ages now. You know when you get out of the habit of doing something and just never seem to get back into it - Well! Seems I fit that description to a tee!
What has been happening to me! October 2016 they decided to chop my thyroid meds and literally blew my results out of the water. Weight gain - hair loss - no energy - leg pain! Only just this last test has it come back to anything like. I think I feel ooooman again - perhaps - 🙄 At least my hair has stopped falling out!
Diabetes wise - things started to go a bit pear shaped in January 2017 when I started to not tolerate the metformin I was on (BG66) so they moved me to slow release but didn't get much better on that so in August (BG74) they moved me onto Alogliptin which had no effect whatsoever! (BG102). Back to slow release metformin and BG104 so something is amiss.
They have given me another tablet to take alongside the met which is called Dapagliflozin which will make me excrete the excess glucose out with my urine - so basically I will be peeing lucozade. Oh I forgot to say - one of the side effects of this medication is weightloss!!! Whooooohoooooo!
Note to self - keep an eye out for Hypo type 1's - I could just be useful!!!
Off now to see what fun I have been missing 😎 Missed you all xx
