I’m Tracie 58 and diagnosed type 2 in March with bloods of 112. I’ve lost 10k and have started exercising and tho scary I'm embracing this challenge and enjoying it. This month I’m down to 52 so pleased. If I can get through menopause I can do this! Looking forward to being a part of the community

Hello Tracie and welcome.

Wow! You are doing fantastically well! Congratulations on your great HbA1c reduction and amazing weight loss. Even better that you are enjoying the challenge. Good for you! You should be seriously proud of yourself. Take a bow!

Good luck with menopause. Don't be like me and suffer for 5 years before asking for help. I have HRT patches now and I can say they have absolutely revolutionized my life and no side effects and I easily manage on just half a dose/patch every 3-4 days. It really blows my mind how a small piece of clear plastic (obviously impregnated with hormone) can make such a massive difference to quality of life but it really is amazing, in ways I never imagined.... like I now sleep soundly all night without a pit stop and of course no hot sweats and the tossing and turning. I just had my review for the HRT this week and I made a point of telling the nurse just how grateful I am for it and how life changing it is. Hope you are able to get it if you need it.

Welcome @Traciefk from a fellow T2. Great work on the weight loss and the reduction in HbA1c - I hope you feel proud of yourself. It really is a great achievement

Great stuff @Traciefk - whatever approaches you have been using seem to be working really well for you.

Congratulations on the impressive weight loss and the significant reduction in HbA1c 🙂

Hi and welcome @Traciefk well done on bringing down your Hba1c so early on after your diagnosis
