I am new to this forum but not new to diabetes. I have had diabetes for 15 years now. I am on metformin, lantus insulin and I was on novo rapid insulin but this week have started on new medication called Trulicity (dulaglutide) please has anyone had positive outcome taking this after having had novo rapid injections? Lost weight? Improved sugar levels? From Annabelle

Welcome, I suggest you do a forum search under both names of the drug.

Welcome to the forum @Twoglet

Hope the switch in meds works out well for you. I get the feeling that some people have a bot of a tough time with as @Goldilocks was describing on another thread recently.

Was there any reason that you wanted to switch from NovoRapid?

We have a few T2 members like @Ljc who do very well on a basal:bolus insulin regimen.

Were you having difficulties on NR? or was there another reason why your Dr suggested the switch?

Hello @Twoglet , welcome to the forum. Sorry I have no experience with Trulicity.
We’re you having problems with Novo Rapid or did they have some other reason for swapping you into Trulicity.
I believe but am not sure, others here will know though, that it is supposed to help with weight loss.

Welcome to the forum @Twoglet

I too have no experience of Trulicity. Like others just wondering what prompted the change from Novorapid. The basal Bolus regime seems to give a lot of flexibility.
