Type 2
IMG_1837.JPG HiMy name is Pat. I'm 56 lives near Chester UK. I am diabetic 2 but with lots of insulin controlled for about 18
Months now.. Also a fatty liver.. Gastroenteritis..... Arthritis in both hips.... Depression. High blood and cholesterol.
I'm constantly tired..No energy.. have terrible sweats... Thirsty with dry mouth and sore tongue yet my blood reading is 6.1. I'm confused as to what to do. I feel I'm 86 not 56 and sometimes don't feel like going on. A constant uphill battle. Xx
Thank you for reading
Everyone have a nice day x

Hi Pat, welcome to the forum 🙂 Sorry to hear about all the things you are having to deal with :( Have you been tested for thyroid problems? What are your readings like through the day i.e. before and after meals, before bed and on waking? What insulin are you using? Sorry for all the questions!

Welcome to the forum, Pat. That's more than your fair share of conditions and symptoms. You should definitely talk to your GP about your symptoms and the effects on your life.

Hi Pat and welcome to the forum from another Cheshire girl 🙂

Hi Pat...seems you are really in the thick of it at the moment...posting in the early hours of the morning things can always seem worse in those 'dark hours'...plus hardly any people on the forum at that time...I am type 2 but have no experience of insulin use..so cannot offer any advice on that...I have no doubt others will be along when the forum 'wakes up' later this morning...there are other members here who experience similar difficulties...can suggest/advise on how to approach your this...while you may feel you are in a 'mess' at the moment...I hope very much you will find the right balance soon ...it is a struggle at times...some days more difficult than others...this is a great place to ask for guidance & support...which I'm short will be offered today...keep us updated...while I cannot offer any practical help...sending some moral support instead.

Hello Pat and welcome to the forum. I feel like that a lot of the time too, but doing low carb makes me feel better. I don't have a sore tongue though at one time I used to wake up with a big red streak down the centre. Goodness knows what all that was about! Don't have Gastroenteritis either but do have acid reflux and throwing up in my sleep almost killing myself so can empathise with how you're feeling. Low carb will make you feel better but this is just my opinion. D is weird, you don't look at all poorly, you look proper perky. 🙂
