Hello Everyone. I was diagnosed with Type2 back in March and have been following a low carb diet. I lost 2 stones initially but have now put 7lbs back on. This may be due to antibiotics which I have been taking for an ear infection or it could be due to the doubling up of Spironolactone. I am also having other problems with the latter and saw my GP yesterday who has put me back on to a smaller dose. I haven't changed my diet over the past few weeks so I am now hoping the weight will come off again.

Some of you may know me from another forum. I certainly recognise some of the names on here. For some reason I can't get into the other forum now. I don't know whether it is having technical difficulties or whether someone has pressed the wrong button against my name! It is telling me that I am forbidden because of my server. I haven't posted anything that could have caused this and my server is BT. 🙄
 
Welcome Pauline. Sorry you've had difficulty with the other site. Have you tried emailing the Administrator?
 
Thank you for your welcome Alison. The problem was that I didn't have an email address for anyone on the site including the Administrator. However, the site is back on now and it was not just me that was forbidden! The whole site had collapsed.
 
Wow! Something really drastic must have happened.

It's not quite it's former self yet - the graphics haven't been restored so nobody has their mugshot on there at the mo, but we have no Smilies and no banner, so Mel B is missing too just now.
