Hello. Diagnosis confirmed when gp did some routine blood tests showed high HbA1c. Do not know of any history of T2. Symptoms were there but have prostate cancer so they were being masked to a certain extent. Started on Metformin 500mg 1mane, now 1bd. In a wheelchair so exercise difficult.Welcome to the forum @Bedford 1
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and your other health challenges.
How did your diagnosis come about? Do you have T2 in your family? Or did you notice the onset of symptoms because of your medical background?
Have you been started on any medication? Or are you managing with diet and exercise to begin with?
