Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I was diagnosed with T2 in September 2011, and initially had good BG control. Over the years this has slipped a bit as I find it hard to motivate myself. Recently I have noticed I feel full after even a small meal, don't feel particularly hungry, even after a long time after I have eaten. I also have nausea and bloating and I look pregnant! I also have some retinal changes.
I looked online (I know!) and found that gastroparesis seems to fit my experiences. Does anyone else have this and if so, how do you manage it? I hate going to the Drs, my nurse monitors my diabetes, and I don't have an appointment with her for a few months yet. Any advice please? Thank you.

Thank you Hobie x I used to dance every week and go to a movement class but had to stop because my tendons in the calf were calcifying and I couldn't walk. I went to a chiropractor for a while, and physio more recently. I can walk almost normally now and am wondering about going back to the movement class in the spring. My main problem is I know all the theory, but somehow it doesn't apply to me! I sound flippant but I realise I am storing up trouble for later.
